TX Lures is a fishing lure company born from a deep passion for innovation in topwater fishing. Founded by Thomas Sacco, the company was driven by a desire to create topwater lures that pushed the boundaries of what was possible in terms of performance and fish-catching ability.

Years spent on the water, meticulously observing fish behavior, analyzing lure performance, and constantly seeking that edge led Thomas to identify areas where conventional topwater lures could be improved. This hands-on experience fueled a deep-seated belief that innovative design could unlock even more explosive action and increase anglers' success on the water's surface.

This conviction wasn't just a fleeting thought; it became a driving force. Thomas's dedication to his craft led him down a path of tireless experimentation, prototyping, and refinement. He wasn't content with simply using existing lures; he was compelled to dissect their mechanics, understand their hydrodynamics, and envision new ways to trigger those coveted topwater bites.

The very name "TX-Lures" is a direct reflection of this personal journey. Recognizing his own deep connection to the company's origins and the core of its innovative spirit, Thomas cleverly abbreviated his first name, "Thomas " and fused it with the product he was so passionate about – "Lures." Thus, TX-Lures was born. TX Lures are made, and shipped from North Carolina. 

This personal touch and genuine love for the sport infuse every aspect of TX Lures' design and philosophy. It's not just about selling lures; it's about sharing the excitement and effectiveness that comes from meticulously crafted tools born from a true angler's passion. The innovation embedded in each TX Lures product, from the unique action to the strategic design elements, is a direct result of Thomas Sacco's unwavering pursuit of the ultimate topwater experience.

Inspiration and Design:

The inspiration for TX Lures' signature designs, like the TX-10, stems from my desire to have a top water lure that used a wire frame so that we could build a topwater lure that floats the moment that it hits the water.  To achieve this I developed a hollow propeller with a large cupface blade and built in sound beads. This type of design gives me the flexibility to add different types of hooks, soft bait trailers etc.

Enhanced Sound and Vibration: Recognizing the importance of auditory and vibrational cues for fish, TX Lures incorporated elements like internal sound chambers, and unique propeller designs to create lures that generate enticing sounds and vibrations in the water.  "Rotating Tumbling Action"  Dual-Size Sound Bearings – Covers a wider frequency range, attracting more fish in various conditions and increasing your chances of a bite.
